چکیده
Purpose – The research objective is to analyze the influence of key factors contributing consumers’ purchase intention grid-connected photovoltaic systems among residential energy consumers. Design/methodology/approach A survey based on Korcaj et al. (2014) was conducted in a major Brazilian city; 209 valid responses were obtained directly. Data analyzed using structural equation modeling. Findings Among significant decision influences are environmental, financial, and autarchy benefits onto perceived global benefit behavioral control construct intention; social benefits, however, not relevant as opposed previous studies. Research limitations/implications - Weakness model's reliability leading exclusion total cost construct, which turn could reduce sample bias increase model regarding clarity product “solar system”, no text used; this have left questions unanswered due lack knowledge respondents about solar technology. Practical implications high purchasing power education level, along with favorable weather geography, may contribute promising perspectives for product. Furthermore, promote adhesion technology city there need costs, value importance generation reference groups. Social analysis influencing city’s residents’ intentions adopt favors further promotion city. Originality/value It contributes development consumer behavior studies adoption ecologically sustainable technologies, i.e., GCPSs, thus, filling gap literature

Efficiency Maximization of Solar Photovoltaic Systems
Photovoltaic (PV) power generation has an important role to play due to the fact that it is a green source. The only emissions associated with PV power generation are those from the production of its components. Increasing the efficiency in PV plants so the power generated increases is a key aspect, as it will increase the incomes, reducing consequently the cost of the power generated so it wil...
متن کاملA Model for Commercial Adoption of Photovoltaic Systems in California
To promote the installations of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems efficiently, it is important to quantify the impact of government incentive programs and solar PV system life-cycle costs on customer adoption. In this paper a model for commercial solar PV adoption is developed with explanatory variables such as government incentive programs and solar PV system installation costs. The adoption mod...
متن کاملWeb-based procurement systems: Intention of adoption by Portugese organizations
In this study, we have developed a conceptual model for electronic-procurement systems (EPS) adopted by Portuguese Organizations incorporating six intentions of adoption determinant factors. In order to do this job, we integrate the technology-organization-environment framework and the institutional theory. Data will be collected from the 2500 biggest companies working in Portugal, to test the ...
متن کاملStudy of Solar Radiation in View of Photovoltaic Systems Optimization
The meteorological data concerning solar radiation are generally not sufficient to allow quantifying all the phenomena which occur when a photovoltaic panel receives solar light. It is therefore, necessary to supplement these data by using astronomical calculation for the sun position and modelling the atmosphere. A simple method to calculate global, diffuse and direct irradiance on vertical an...
متن کاملIntegration of green roof and solar photovoltaic systems
Green roof and solar photovoltaic (PV) systems are two technologies that could contribute to sustainable building development and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. When they are combined together on the building roof, it can enhance their functions and effectiveness by cooling and shading effects. This paper explains the major findings of a research to study the benefits of integrating gre...
